Flu Arrows
Flu Flu arrows used to be ideal for bird hunting because they have shorter flight paths. Our handmade European spruce Flu arrows are lighter and more durable than cedar. Manufactured with high-quality adhesives and varnishes, they offer first-class quality. A product “Made in Germany” from BEIER GERMANY!
The Flu Flu – something special for the quiver!
In the past, birds were hunted with arrows that had larger and larger numbers of feathers. These arrows were called so-called Flu Flus. The reason for this is quite simple - the Flu Flu doesn't fly that far. If the target was missed, you didn't have to walk as far to find the Flu Flu again. One or two Flu Flus should still be found in every quiver today.
Our hand-made, high-quality Flu Flu arrows are all of outstanding quality. The shafts of these arrows are always spun and rolled by hand - you only receive first-class products! Without exception, our shafts come from European spruce, mostly from Austria or Germany, from the high altitudes of the Alps. Of course, we also use these high-quality shafts for the Flu Flus. The wood for the stocks is only cut in winter. This gives us a shaft material that is above average in durability and robustness. It is also approximately 10% lighter than US cedar, providing a flatter trajectory and faster arrow speeds.
Only the highest quality adhesives and paints are used in the construction of the Flu Flus. These handcrafted masterpieces are fletched with feathers from Bogensport Beier's arrow making industry, which are punched in our company. Choose your single-colored natural feathers, determine your shaft in diameter, spine and length. Now choose the cam and tip and we look forward to building your Flu Flu for you entirely by hand.
