Archery Beier wooden arrow shafts - arrow shafts made from European mountain spruce

European spruce arrow shafts are an excellent alternative to American cedar. The wood for our wooden arrow shafts is cut in the high altitudes of the Alpine low mountain ranges exclusively in winter and taking the phases of the moon into account. Spruce wood is one of the best materials for wooden arrow shafts in traditional archery: it is extremely durable and stable, and spruce is on average around 10% lighter than cedar wood. Wooden arrow shafts made from European mountain spruce are particularly valued due to their excellent flight characteristics.

Spruce arrow shafts are also very interesting in terms of price because, unlike cedar arrow shafts, they do not require long transport routes.

Our archery wooden arrow shafts are carefully checked and spun by hand.
