Shocq Riser TD Guardian
The Shocq Guardian riser is a high-quality and affordable wooden riser for recurve bows and is ideal for beginners, recreational archers, clubs, and training courses. Thanks to the different sizes and solid construction, the riser can be individually matched to different bow lengths.
The Shocq Guardian riser is available in 18, 20 and 24 inches, each for both right- and left-handed archers. The riser is made of wood and features screw-on limbs. Additional mounting threads allow the installation of a scope, stabilizer and button. This makes it possible to use the bow either as a simple barebow or with additional equipment.
The different riser lengths allow for the assembly of various bow lengths:
-
18 inches: suitable for 54- and 58-inch bows
-
20 inches: suitable for 62-inch bows
-
24 inches: suitable for 66-, 68- and 70-inch bows
There are also differences in the limb mount between the various sizes. The 18-inch riser features a smaller limb mount measuring 35 x 60 mm. The 20- and 24-inch risers, on the other hand, are equipped with the standard limb mount measuring 40 x 74 mm.
Depending on the size, the risers weigh 550 g for 18 inches, 730 g for 20 inches and 830 g for 24 inches. This gives the Guardian a good combination of manageable weight and sufficient stability for training and recreational use.

Difference between RH and LH
When selecting RH (Right Hand), you receive a riser designed for right-handed archers. The bow is held in the left hand while the string is drawn with the right hand. The shelf or arrow rest is located on the left side of the riser.
With LH (Left Hand), the opposite applies: the bow is held in the right hand while the string is drawn with the left hand. Accordingly, the shelf is located on the right side of the riser.
