BCY, B55 1 lbs Spool Dacron
The high quality B55 string yarn from BCY made of 100% polyester is for the construction of Flemish splices and endless Strings, it is one of the classic string yarns. BCY's B55 string yarn matches Brownell's long-known Dacron. Brownell, the manufacturer of the well-known Dacon's string yarn, has unfortunately stopped doing business with string yarn. This makes BCY one of the few suppliers to offer a similar string yarn that corresponds to the similar Dacron. This situation occasionally leads to bottlenecks because the capacities in the production of BCY are limited, so it may happen that delivery bottlenecks occur again and again.

Here is a recommendation for the strength of the tendons in relation to the tensile weight of the bow:
- 20 - 30 lbs: 10 strands
- 30 - 45 lbs: 12 strands
- 45 - 60 lbs: 14 strands
- 60 - 80 lbs: 16 strands
- 80 - 100 lbs: 18 strands
- more than 100 lbs: 20 strands
Thinner Strings often mean faster arrow flight. However, you have to say that you can measure it, but whether you can judge it subjectively is doubtful. Since the load on B55 strings in direct comparison to Fast Flight or Spectra 652 is much lower for bows, BCY string yarn B55 is also ideally suited for use in traditional selfbows.
