The high-quality Seissiger alkaline disposable batteries are specially designed for high power peaks and long service lives. This makes them the ideal alkaline batteries for use in game cameras and other professional applications. Due to their high energy density and design, they can be stored for up to 10 years without any loss of performance.
Seissiger wildlife cameras work with a voltage of 6.0 to 7.4 volts. This voltage is achieved with 4 batteries of 1.5 volts each. You can also operate the cameras with 8 or 12 batteries. For maximum life and reliability you should always use 12 batteries.
Note on using rechargeable batteries in Seissiger wildlife cameras:
Rechargeable batteries discharge faster than disposable batteries and have a lower energy density. NiMH batteries only have a nominal voltage of 1.2 volts. Disposable alkaline batteries are at least 1.5 volts, usually a little more. 4 rechargeable batteries, each with 1.2 volts, do not deliver the required voltage of 6.0 volts in total and therefore cannot guarantee reliable operation. That is why only high-quality 1.5 volt disposable batteries are included with the Seissiger wildlife cameras.
